Pull material from a truck on a job
When logging material usage for a job, select the service truck as the source location instead of a warehouse. The pull reduces the truck’s stock and records the material against the job. After a job, return unused material to the service truck it came from. The return flow runs through the Select Batches screen so Inventory HQ matches the return to the FIFO batch the material was originally pulled from. For the complete return steps, see Return material.Create a service truck
Administrators can add a new service truck so it becomes available as a location across the platform.1
Open Service Trucks
Go to Service Trucks and click Add Service Truck.

Enter vehicle details
Fill in the truck name, Registration Number, Vehicle Identification Number, Model, and Description.

Assign a driver (optional)
Select a driver if you want to link the truck to a specific team member.

Save
Click Save. The truck is now available as a location throughout the platform.
What happens next
Once a truck is created, you can:Stock the truck
Restock items or import inventory in bulk to load the truck before a job.
Pull and return on jobs
Crews can pull from the truck and return leftovers using the standard job material flows.
