InventoryHQ gives your team a single place to track every material, supply, and tool your business depends on — from the warehouse shelf to the job site. Whether you’re managing coil nails across three trucks or monitoring pipe flashing stock at multiple branches, the inventory dashboard puts real-time visibility in front of you on any device.

The Inventory Dashboard

When you open the Inventory section, you land on the dashboard — your command center for stock levels and activity. From here you can:
  • Monitor stock levels for every item across all your locations at a glance
  • Spot trends in consumption so you can anticipate shortfalls before they happen
  • Review active alerts for items that have fallen below their minimum thresholds
  • Jump into item details to see cost, quantity, location, and history in one view
The dashboard updates in real time, so field crews checking stock from a job site see the same numbers as your office team.

Key Inventory Actions

Search and filter

Use the search bar and category filters to quickly find any item by name, SKU, or type. Filter by location to narrow results to a single warehouse, branch, or truck.

Add and edit items

Create new items with fields for quantity, unit cost, category, and minimum threshold. Update any field at any time as your catalog evolves.

Set reorder thresholds

Assign a minimum stock level to each item. InventoryHQ automatically fires an alert when quantities drop to or below that threshold.

Transfer stock

Move materials between locations — warehouse to truck, truck to job site — and keep a full audit trail of every transfer.

How Inventory Fits Into Your Workflow

Inventory in InventoryHQ doesn’t live in isolation. Every item you track connects to the broader platform:
  • Job costing — When materials are consumed on a job, usage ties back to that job’s cost report automatically.
  • Multi-location tracking — Monitor stock at every warehouse, branch, or service truck from the same dashboard.
  • Reorder alerts — Get notified on desktop or mobile the moment a critical material runs low.
Stock levels and alerts are visible from any device. Your crew can check inventory from the job site using the InventoryHQ mobile app without needing access to the full desktop interface.
