Service trucks in Inventory HQ are your own vehicles: crew trucks, box trucks, and install vans. They are not supplier or delivery vehicles. Each truck behaves as a mobile warehouse, so you can stock it with material, let crews pull inventory directly from it on a job, and receive returns back to it.
The two views serve different purposes. Use the Service Trucks module to move, stock, and pull inventory. Use the equipment view for visibility of the vehicle itself as an asset.

How service trucks behave

  • Stock a truck the same way you stock a warehouse, using Restock or a bulk warehouse import.
  • Crews can pull material directly from the truck on a job, and return material to it.
  • Truck stock appears in the Inventory location filter alongside warehouses, and counts toward low stock alerts.
  • Trucks also appear in the equipment and categories views, which is where you manage the vehicle itself as an asset rather than what it is carrying.
