Equipment is one of the largest line items in a roofing contractor’s budget — and one of the easiest to lose track of. A $10,000 thermal drone can sit in the back of the wrong truck for weeks before anyone notices it’s gone. Ladders walk off job sites. Tablets disappear between crews. Without a dedicated system, the cost of unaccounted equipment quietly eats into your margins every season. InventoryHQ gives you a single place to record, assign, and monitor every piece of company-owned equipment. You always know who has what, where it is, and how long they’ve had it — so nothing falls through the cracks.

What You Can Track

InventoryHQ is built to handle the full range of equipment a roofing or trades team relies on:

High-Value Assets

Thermal drones, cameras, inspection tools, and other expensive equipment where accountability is critical.

Field Tools & Gear

Nail guns, compressors, generators, ladders, and hand tools assigned to crews or job sites.

Technology & Devices

Tablets, laptops, phones, and measuring devices issued to team members or kept at a location.

Vehicles & Storage

Service trucks and vehicles used as equipment hubs, with their own assigned inventory.

Equipment Only Plan

If your team’s primary need is equipment accountability — not full inventory or job costing — the Equipment Only plan is built for you. At $99/month for up to 5 users, it gives your team a clean, focused system for tracking who owns what without the overhead of the full platform.
Need job-level tracking, warehouse inventory, and reporting alongside equipment management? The Core Plan at $199/month includes all of that. See Billing & Plans for a full comparison.

How Equipment Tracking Works

Every item you add to InventoryHQ gets its own record — with a name, description, and assignment history. You can assign equipment to a team member, a vehicle, or a job. When the work is done, equipment gets checked back in and becomes available again. The assignment history never disappears. Even after equipment is returned, you can look back and see exactly who had it, when they received it, and when it was returned. That history becomes your accountability trail.
