# Use the Inventory HQ Dashboard for Real-Time KPIs

> Learn how to read KPI cards, apply time filters, interpret charts, and use the Recent Activity and Low Stock panels on the Dashboard.

The Dashboard is a real-time snapshot of your business. Use it to monitor account health, track inventory value trends, review job completion rates, and spot low stock or recent material movements at a glance.

## KPI Cards

The four cards at the top summarise account health at a glance. Each also shows a rolling one-week figure.

| Card                            | What It Shows                                                             |
| :------------------------------ | :------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| **Total Jobs**                  | Total, active, and completed jobs for the selected period                 |
| **Total Material Values**       | Total inventory value in dollars, plus the value already consumed on jobs |
| **Equipment Maintenance Alert** | Number of equipment items flagged for maintenance                         |
| **Low Stock Alert**             | Number of materials at or below their minimum stock threshold             |

## Using the Filter

    Click the **Filter** button in the top-right corner of the Dashboard.

  <Step title="Select a time range">
    Select a time range: **Last 24 Hours**, **Last 1 Week**, **Last 2 Weeks**, **Last 1 Month**, **Last 6 Months**, or **Custom**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Set a custom range (if needed)">
    For a custom range, pick a start and end date.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Apply the filter">
    Click **Apply Filters**. All KPIs, charts, and tables update.

## Charts

* **Inventory Value Trend:** a line chart of total inventory value over time. Hover a data point for the exact figure.
* **Active vs Completed Jobs:** a donut chart showing the ratio of active to completed jobs in the selected period.

## Recent Activity and Low Stock Alerts

Below the charts are two working panels.

* **Recent Activity:** every material pull, return, and equipment assignment, with the batch code, the job or person involved, and a timestamp. Click **View** to open a record, or **View All** for the full searchable log showing material name, activity type, performed by, batch code, unit, price per unit, location, quantity, and total cost.
* **Low Stock Alerts:** every material at or below its minimum stock threshold, with a **Restock** shortcut on each row. **View All** opens the full Low Stock Alerts page. See [Low Stock Alerts](/inventory/reorder-alerts) for details.

<Tip>
  Recent Activity is the fastest way to answer "who pulled that and when". Everything is logged with a batch code, so a questionable job cost can always be traced back to the exact movement.
